Dear Colleagues,
The International Wheat Genetics Symposium (IWGS) is the most prominent and most prestigious event for wheat genetics and genomics, wheat breeding and improvement and triticeae genomics research. It has traditionally been held in five years intervals. The 13th IWGS will take place in Tulln, Austria, April 23-28, 2017. Genomics research has made tremendous progress and novel tools and approaches are now applicable even to the huge and complex hexaploid wheat genome. Novel developments in wheat genetics and genomics research and development will be presented and thoroughly discussed in oral and poster presentations and workshops.
